Eade is a fourteen year old girl who has spent her life in space on the spaceship ‘Cradle’. She and her dad are on the return journey to earth when an explosion cripples the craft and seriously injures her father. As the clock counts down to self-destruction Cradle’s computer, System, assumes control of the ship and refuses to perform the life saving medical procedure that her father desperately needs. Whilst trying to outwit System to save her dad, Eade discovers the shocking truth of her existence and must face her uncertain future armed with the knowledge that her life in space is not as it seems.

Cradle is a short film produced by 4 Knights Films, Directed by Damon Duncan, and supported by Assembly and the NZ Film Commission. 

Nick's Production Design created a pressed modular capsule enabling multiple environments to be created from a small kit of parts. The capsule was realised using vacuum formed ABS plastics, CNC cutting, and a lot of dedication and passion from those involved in creating 'Cradle'.

Unbroken is a World War 2 survival story directed by Angelina Jolie. It tells the story of the life of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic long distance runner who during the war survives a plane crash in the Pacific, 42 days at sea, and then two years in a Japanese POW camp.
